What is WikiLeaks
WikiLeaks 2.0 is the second version and continuation of the public franchise of the multinational media organization and its associated libraries. The first version was founded by its publisher, Julian Assange, in 2006.
WikiLeaks specializes in analyzing and publishing large data sets containing publicly available materials related to war, espionage, corruption, and globalization.
“WikiLeaks is a giant library of the world’s most persecuted documents. We give asylum to these documents, we analyze them, we promote them and we obtain more.” – Julian Assange, Der Spiegel Interview
WikiLeaks has contractual relationships and secure communication channels with everyone who strives to change life for the better. This gives WikiLeaks sources strength in our shared struggle.
While no organization can hope for a flawless reputation forever, for now, WikiLeaks 2.0 demonstrates a commitment to free speech, the right to know the truth, and the ability to choose between good and evil for every person on this planet.
